De Proef-Left Hand Wekken Sour Collab       De Proef collaborates with one brewery every year to produce a special blend of styles and brews. For 2015, they worked with Left Hand Brewery to produce a Belgian Dark Ale- using Left Hand’s Russian Imperial Stout and De Proef’s Flanders Red Ale     
                                
Brasserie Dubuisson Scaldis Prestige de Nuits  
Belgian Strong Dark Ale. Made from Scaldis (Bush) Noel aged for 6 months in Bourgogne barrels from the world famous "Nuits St Georges" vineyard. Aromas of red fruits with a balance of sweetness, acidity and a slightly dry aftertaste.
   
The Bruery Oude Tart Terreux  
Flemish-Style Red Ale aged in red wine barrels for 18 months. Pleasantly sour with hints of leather, dark fruit and toasty oak.  

 

RESERVE BEER LIST

Lindeman’s Gueuze Cuvée Rene 2001 (750ml) 
Lindeman’s premier sour beer, a blend of old and young lambic that is barrel aged and fermented twice. Slightly musty and citrusy nose gives
way to a very smooth and crisp beer that is both fruity and lightly tart.
 
Lost Abbey Veritas Batch 009 (750ml) 
One of only 1200 bottles made(!), Veritas Batch 009 is a sour-style stout that took nearly three and a half years to make. First aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels for 15 months, it was then moved to Syrah red wine barrels where it sat for another 15 months with sour cherries, which was then blended and bottled-conditioned for an additional 11 months. Flavors of dark cherry, oak, tannins, and a slightly sweet and tart finish.
 
Chimay Grande Reserve 2001 (3000ml) 
Produced by the Trappist monks of the Scourmont Abbey, Grande Reserve is their classic Belgian Strong Ale. Notes of dark fruits, buttery caramel, lots of spice.
 
Fullers Vintage Ale2000, 2001 (550ml) 
Two different vintages of an English Old Ale. Creamy and malty with lots of body. Finish is long with touches of alcohol and dryness. Available together or individually.
